1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Virtus ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Virtus is a gamified workout tracking application that allows users to log workouts, track progress, earn experience points (XP), and participate in social features including leaderboards and messaging.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years of age to use this service.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems
  • Upload malicious content or interfere with the App's operation
  • Create multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards or social features

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Virtus Labs LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. User-generated content (custom exercises, workout notes) remains your property, but you grant Virtus Labs LLC a license to store and display it within the App.

6. Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Workout data, profile information, and usage analytics are collected as described therein.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. Banned users may appeal by contacting support.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Virtus is not a medical or fitness professional — consult a healthcare provider before beginning any exercise program.

9. Limitation of Liability

Virtus shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to physical injury from exercise activities.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
